Well, okay we already went through hell once. In order to get the game’s true/golden ending, we gotta go through hell first. Doki Doki Literature Club is no expectation. If you truly want that happy ending, then you have to go through hell to obtain it. Video games (with multiple endings) drive this point home hard. You know, I truly believe that you can earn your happy ending in life – but only if you work and grind your ass off for it.
